I’m a 31 y.o. French guy, who just loves to live outside the walls and to think outside the box. After too long and to serious years of study in Science and (then) Environment Engineering fields… I lived 6 months in the remote bush of Sierra Leone , West Africa, for a Water&Sanitation project to escape from a standard way of life.
Convinced by this Initiation travel , the people i met, mostly, but meanwhile, by a motor-bike accident and a severe anaphylactic shock after i returned, i have now for guideline that:
It’s a big world out there, and life is too short
It totally changed my mind. After I returned, i decided to live my passions and my dreams. I made it a living: I share my passion of Sciences and mostly of Nature and Environment with children 9 months per year as Environment Educator. The rest of the year I wear my tramping shoes and cross the land…
I really enjoyed the past 4 years, living my passions: travelling, meeting lots of people, living and working among children, building intense and strong relationships. I spent a lot of time in the mountain to hike trough the most beautiful walking-tracks in France
Nevertheless, a serious accident in January 2013, changed my mind. Except that I nearly passed away, I discovered a very strong driving force of life in me. It took me 2 months of immobilization to recover from a scapula fracture, multiples and serious sores on back, spine, leg, hand and head… over 30 stitches and hours of nursing…
It took me time to catch up more than to recover. This event changed me deeply. When you can’t move, you’ve got plenty time to focus on yourself….”It’s a big world out there, and life is too short” came back to my mind…
My thirtieth birthday approaching, i realized that time has come to go back on tracks.
It urges me to pack my bag again, face new challenges, overcome new obstacles (physical as psychological) and mostly going further.
I’m now imbued by a strong will and driving force to discover brand-new parts of the world, as hidden parts of me… meet new people, live new experiences, change my mind, get new points of view… and mostly to share it !
